Not the best overlay in the world, but this spectacular game doesn’t exactly have a perfect scale. I made this based on confirmed landmarks. Lake Powell, Delicate Arch, Colorado Springs, and estimating Yellowstone by what looks like Old Faithful.

Snowy conditions in northern Colorado today means it’s time to ramp up the tying game for next spring. Everything from little black stoneflies to midges, jig head pheasant tails, and soft hackles coming off the vice today.

Next season, Colorado plays all 3 rivals (Nebraska, AF, CSU) for the first time since 1958

08/31 - Colorado State (at Denver, CO)
09/07 - Nebraska
09/14 - Air Force
The last time this occurred, Colorado went 1-2 with losses to CSU and Air Force, defeating Nebraska. All games were in Boulder. Next season (2019) all games aside from the Rocky Mountain Showdown (at Mile High) will be played in Boulder.
You might say AF-CU isn't a rivalry since they haven't met since 1974. The rivalry peaked during the Vietnam war, symbolic of the military versus Boulder hippies. While the football team was busy beating the Falcons on the field in Boulder in 1973, CU fans took their anti-war frustrations out on Air Force personnel. They reportedly threw insults, eggs, beer and perhaps other things, at the Falcons. Air Force officials were, naturally, upset, and after the already-scheduled 1974 game in Colorado Springs, they put an end to what had become an annual tradition. The Buffs and Falcons played 16 times in 17 years from 1958-74.
Any college football fan during the 80s, 90s, and 2000s knows about the CU-Nebraska rivalry. This includes the tasteless "Sal is dead, go big red". Colorado defeated Nebraska in Lincoln in 1990 to win the Big 8 and eventually the National Title. In 2001, Nebraska came to Boulder undefeated but we all know how that went. The two haven't met since Colorado left the big 12 following the 2010 season. They are set to meet in Lincoln this season (2018), the first of a four game series.
The Rocky Mountain Showdown has been played 89 times with CU leading 65-22-2 and will end after the 2021 meeting in Fort Collins. Colorado has won 3 straight including the 44-7 blowout in 2016 that lead to a Pac-12 South title and top 10 CFP ranking. This game started with a TD scored by our own GreatOdlnsRaven
Colorado also plays Utah in the most heated rivalry game in the Pac 12....

Hey y’all!
I’m looking for a game in Colorado Springs, either new or existing. I’ve been playing for about 4 years, but since moving to the spring I haven’t found a table yet and I’m jonesing pretty hard for some good ol’ D&D!
I enjoy both combat and role-playing, and am hoping to find a weekly game on Monday’s or Tuesday’s. I know that’s not the best schedule, but I’m currently helping take care of my mother and have a set schedule. I’m looking for an LGBT+ friendly group, possibly 420 but that’s not a deal breaker. If anyone has a spot open please message me!

[Offline][Blades In The Dark][Colorado Springs, CO][Friday Nights] Looking for 2-3 people to join my Friday night gaming group!

Hey everyone,
Due to some scheduling conflicts with a few players, I've had my group shrink quite a bit. There's one regular player and two players who attend on an irregular basis. We like to play a variety of different games, including: Stars Without Number, Savage Worlds, Godbound, Star Wars, Lancer RPG, Genesys system, and of course Pathfinder and D&D. Next up in the shoot for us is Blades in the Dark. Some of the other games we hope to play sometime soon are: Shadowrun, Burning Wheel, possibly Traveller, and several others that I can't think of at the moment.
We meet at Enchanted Realms on Friday nights. If you're interested, shoot me a message!
